- Walls of Jerusalem National Park |
water reservoir The National Park is located right next to Cradle Mountain and Lake St. Clair National Park. The region is alpine wilderness dominated by dolerite stone formations and alpine vegetation. Only well experienced and well equipped walkers should go there for a tour. The National Park is very exposed to the unpredictable and changeable weather of Tasmania. You should also carry a tent with you cause the few huts in the park are in poor condition and should be used as emergency shelters only. We drove along the only road that leads within the park to the departure point of our tour - an adventurous gravel road once again. But because of rainy weather and therefore bad mood we didn't manage to start our tour and only spend the night there in our car.
The only picture we took is this huge water reservoir we drove past.
