- Mt. William National Park

Mount William National Park is a beautiful park in the very north-east of Tasmania. It's famous for its long, lonely beaches and its teeming wildlife.

There are only poor gravel roads leading to this remote piece of land. It's a perfect spot to spend a day out observing animals and having a nice picnic at the picnic area in the park. If you drive along the Forester Kangaroo Drive you will see the only true Kangaroo of Tasmania - the Forester Kangaroo (also called Eastern Grey Kangaroo) but also Wombats, Wallabies, Pademelons and Echidnas.

Mt. William

An easy 1 ½ hours walk through thick forest. On top of Mt. William you can enjoy a beautiful view over the coast and inland and in the north you can even see some of the Bass Strait Islands if the weather is clear.
